Built on a Lifetime of Hands-On Experience
Equipment Sales NW was built on a lifetime of hands-on experience, craftsmanship, and a passion for machinery.
My Story
My interest in building and working on machines started early. At 12 years old, I built my first go-kart, beginning a lifelong curiosity about how things work, how they are built, and how they can be improved.
After studying Computer Engineering, my career took me into skilled craftsmanship and hands-on work. I spent many years painting high-end custom homes in communities such as Germantown, Oregon, and Ridgefield, Washington, before expanding into rental properties and commercial building exteriors throughout the Portland metropolitan area.
That work required precision, patience, and attention to detail. From fine woodwork and trim to cabinetry and specialty finishes, every project required a commitment to quality workmanship — skills that later became invaluable when restoring and refurbishing equipment.
I also spent 22 years with UPS, beginning as a package sorter and eventually becoming a package car driver. My delivery routes throughout Oregon's farming communities, including Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Scappoose, St. Helens, and surrounding areas, gave me the opportunity to meet farmers, ranchers, and rural property owners who relied on their equipment every day.
Seeing the importance of dependable machinery firsthand, combined with my own experience purchasing and maintaining farm property, deepened my appreciation for the right equipment for the job. I experienced how the right machine could transform projects that once took days or weeks into work that could be completed in hours.
After retiring from UPS following 22 years of service, I decided to turn my lifelong interest in machinery into Equipment Sales NW.
Today, my focus is simple: provide quality equipment, honest advice, and machines that I would be proud to own and operate myself. Whether you are maintaining a small acreage, managing a farm, or tackling your next project, my goal is to help you find equipment that fits your needs and delivers real value.
What We Stand For
Honest Pricing
No hidden fees, no pressure tactics. The price on the tag is the price you pay — and every service job is quoted before work begins so there are never any surprises.
Hands-On Craftsmanship
Every refurbished machine is inspected, serviced, and restored in-house. Decades of painting, building, and fixing things taught me that details matter and shortcuts show.
Local Roots
I spent years driving UPS routes through Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Scappoose, and St. Helens. I know these communities, the people in them, and what they need from their equipment.
Equipment I'd Own Myself
I farm my own property with the same type of machines I sell. If I wouldn't run it on my land, I won't put it on the lot.
